What to review on which day — and the cards to drill it

Paste what you have to learn and the date of the exam. Your browser builds the spaced-repetition calendar — which unit you meet on which day and when each comes back — the minutes it costs against the minutes you have, and a forgetting-curve forecast of what you will still recall on exam day and a month later, for this plan, for cramming, and for never reviewing at all. Free, before you sign in. Then a learning coach either writes the plan with a retrieval method for every unit, or writes the cards from your notes, each answer checked against them.

Each example ships with a saved model run, so you can see a whole plan and a whole deck — including the reconciliation — without signing in and without spending a credit.

What this does, and what it does not

The calendar is computed, not guessed. Each unit is a memory with a stability and a difficulty under FSRS-6, the open spaced-repetition scheduler whose published default parameters this page uses; a review is placed when the predicted probability of recall would fall to your target, and every review is assumed remembered. The forecast is the same model read forward: recall on exam day and thirty days later for this plan, for cramming the last days with the same engine, and for meeting each unit once and never again. The engine was compared with the reference implementation, py-fsrs 6.3.2, on 75,659 stability, difficulty, interval and recall checks (worst disagreement 7 × 10-15), re-simulated the planner independently on 437 checks, and confirmed that three things that should disagree do: the previous forgetting curve (FSRS-4.5), an SM-2 ease factor, and a sign error in the decay.

The phases follow the memory-retrieval-learning skill's exam pattern: sixty percent of the study days to meet the material, thirty to review it, ten to rehearse. The model then judges — the goal, what kind of thing each unit is and how to retrieve it, where the plan is fragile — and every figure it writes is re-read against this engine; every card it writes is checked against your notes, word by word and number by number, and the page shows you where the two disagree. It does not know your syllabus, it does not grade you, and it will not tell you that re-reading works.
